Event ID 1078 - what could it be ?

Hello,

sometimes i've got this message on the windows event log. And the all
the web site become unavailable. If I kill w3wp.exe in the task
explorer, all the web site become available.

On IIS I have only one pool whith 3 virtual host inside.

ASP.NET 1.1.4322.0

The state server has closed an expired TCP/IP connection. The IP
address of the client is 127.0.0.1. The expired Read operation began
at 12/13/2004 21:02:18.
