Write it as "filename.wml"
Configure Windows to not hide extensions for known filetypes. (the
better option).

With FP2003 or any version, you can easily save a page with a .wml file extension or any extension
or rename a file to have .wml or any extension using one of the following methods:
To Save As with the .wml extension:
Click SaveAs, Then set "Save As Type" to: All Files(*.*), then name the file with the .wml extension
To Rename a existing file with the .wml extension:
Select the file in "Folder List" panel, right click, select "Rename", then click in the edit name
box, back space 3 times, and then type "wml"
