ssl & mod_proxy?

hi,

is there any possibility for an application listening
behind the ProxyPass Directive to recognize whether the=20
original request was made via "https" in Apache2 ?

It seems that environment variables set by
SetEnvIf are ignored when forwarding the request by
means of mod_proxy...
