IISReset "No such interface supported"

IISReset "No such interface supported"

am 04.05.2005 21:01:06 von studen77

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help :-)

I'm running iIS 5.1 on XP, and, while the server responds just fine and it
actually works, it does not respond to command line requests such as IISRESET

I've got .net 2k3 enterprise installed with crystal reports if that means
anything

Does
iisreset /disable
iisreset /enable
help?

I had SP1 at that time.
Reinstalling IIS could help.
If not, run

tokenmon
and
filemon
and
regmon
http:/www.sysinternals.com

These tools help to identify a possible security error.
