Server error: Error 5 opening registry key "SOFTWARE/Classes/"

Hi

any one come across this one?

I am using vis interdev on win2k to open a file on iis i get this error for
some files but not others

any help appreciated

Error 5 usually means '"access denied", you might want to check to see who
has permissions on this registry key. For testing purposes, I would give
everybody Full Control and see if that works. You can also download
RegMon from www.sysinternals.com to assist in determining who lacks the
proper permissions.
