Event ID 1078 (The state server has closed an expired TCP/IP connection)

I'm getting this error:

"The state server has closed an expired TCP/IP connection. The IP address of
the client is 127.0.0.1. The expired Read operation began at 11/30/2005
06:46:18."

Googling it leads to this KB article:

However, that doesn't seem to fix it I bumped the time-outs to the
recommended 20 seconds. Nor do our circumstances match those in the KB
article. Our processors aren't under a heavy load.
