How to remove Banner Text in Windows Installer?

I'm confused the documentation says I can use a 500 x 70 pixel banner image
(bmp or jpg) but when I do, the banner text is written on top of my image.
Is there anything I can do to remove the banner text?

Couldn't you just set it to empty through the properties panel?

no that doesn't work, always displays some text.
