Hi all,

When I am trying to 'make' httpd-2.0.55 on AIX 5.3, I am getting the follow=
ing error message:

"find: 0652-010 The starting directory is not valid."

Configure works fine, but make gives problem.

What could be the reason? A few days back, I could install it properly on t=
he same machine.

My Guess is Right!!!
I think u need to change your default shell in bash..
Because default SHELL is ksh and that script is need bash.
Can u check this?

I don't have bash on my AIX 5.3 machine. sh, csh are available.

But as you mentioned that script need bash, which script are you talking ab=
out? 'configure' script?

I've already given 'configure' command using my default shell 'ksh', and it=
worked properly. But after that make failed.

The options given with cofigure are:

../configure --with-mpm=3Dprefork --enable-so --enable-logio --enable-auth-d=
igest --enable-auth-dbm --enable-exception-hook CFLAGS=3D"-qcpluscmt"

The other problem is it takes around 2 hrs to configure on AIX 5.3. While o=
n AIX 5.1/5.2, it's very fast. Search for Berkeley DB in configure takes to=
o much time.

Can you guide me how to resolve these problems?
