problem reinstalling extensions

We just recently moved to a new server. The fp extensions are installed,
but we are still having some problems with some of our sites.
When we go to reinstall them we get this error message sometimes:
Warning, /scripts/fpfakeout.so failed to build. Please discover the reason!

We are also publishing in fp and in the middle it stops and says something
like this:
Thursday, March 30, 2006 10:21:04 AM Publishing from "J:\fallenstar"
to "http://fallenstarranch.com".
Thursday, March 30, 2006 10:21:51 AM Server error: The page foals.htm
has been modified by fallenst on 27 Jan 2006 15:32:55 -0600.
Thursday, March 30, 2006 10:22:00 AM Finished publish from
"J:\fallenstar" to "http://fallenstarranch.com".


Any ideas what is going on?
