#1: Problem- When ppl click on link to download file , it pops up

Posted on 2008-01-21 08:25:10 by RJ

Hi

I have a webpage which displays various links to download files
residing in my server running windows server 2003.

For the past 3 yrs it has been running well but suddenly now wen ppl
click on the link it pops up a login password dialog. These same ppl
have been using it for 3 yrs and never came across this problem.
Somehow i dun see the password dialog box wen i click the link. For
me
wen i click, the file download starts.

I need to fix this problem urgently. My site is running .net and
hosted on IIS 6.0 and my server is Windows Server 2003.

Any help wud be greatly appreciated.

Cheers RJ
