Please help!

I have an Excel file in my website and it opens in Quick View when I click on
the link! It should open in Excel. What is going on? Thanks so much for the
help!!!

Actually, if you're viewing with IE it should NOT open in Excel.

Excel, Word, and other office documents are what are known as Active
Documents. IE understands that it can plug something into the IE interface
to view the document. So, an Active document can open within IE. The best
way to ensure that your documents open outside of IE is to put them into a
..zip file.

On your local PC, you will need to re-associate the file extension back to Excel.exe
