Error 5 during replication
am 24.12.2003 22:16:57 von Rob ThomasHi,
I'm currently migrating users from an old 3.23.49 i686 server to a
4.0.16 amd64 server. Most of our users will have to change their code,
and so I just set up the current server as a master and the new server
as a slave, so that they can switch over at their leisure.
Replication keeps barfing on one database, with this error (from SHOW
SLAVE STATUS):
Error 'Out of memory (Needed 3906497456 bytes)' on query 'UPDATE authors
SET LoggedIn='Yes', LastLogin='2003-12-24' WHERE id=648'.
Now 4 gigs is a bit extreme, this box has 2 gigs of ram and a gig of
swap, none of which is being used. What's going on? I've ran myisamchk
on every index, didn't help.
Thanks,
-Rob Thomas
