MySQLCC on Windows 2000 -- Using the Query window, tried to insert a string
which includes a semicolon character into a text column, and got the
following error:

ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that
corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near
'to respect all individuals in their folly of the moment: whethe

I can insert the same string (copy-pasted exactly) with no problem using
the command-line.

How-To-Repeat:
Open the Query window
Insert a string which includes a semicolon character into a text column

Hi

Thanks for the bug report. This bug was introduced in 0.8.8 and its already
fixed in my local bk tree (which I'll push sometime this week).

Jorge

Is mysqlcc@lists.mysql.com just a really slow list.
I subscribed but got no confirmation so I posted and didn't see my own post.

I downloaded mysqlcc-0.8.9-linux-glibc22 and it worked fine at the
beginning.
I added a server and it seemed to work.
I closed it and tried to run it again but now the window opens but
immediately closes and I get a segmentation fault.
Is there a config file that it put somewhere with the server I added?
I'll try and get rid of that.
