Are there Perl/MySQL Developers on this list?

I don't mean do people who read and post here *use* Perl and MySQL for their
own projects--obviously we all do. What I mean is, are some of the actual
people who create(d) Perl and MySQL contributors here?

Perhaps because they're both(?) open source (or are they not?), then anyone
who wants to can add to the actual program. I hope my question is clear.
I'm just so impressed by the level of knowledge by many of the posters that
I had to ask.

I believe, we are simply the people who developed DBD::mysql (and a lot
of other modules). :-)
