Help with upper and lower case
am 13.12.2004 02:40:36 von Rock
Hi,
I am looking at publishing a large 350 MB FP site and have noticed that
some of the links to images are in lower case whilst others to the same
directory are caps.
EG: /images/button.gif and another link to the same button...
/Images/button.gif and also /IMAGES/button.gif
Also some filenames are different, say, button.GIF or Button.gif
I understand MS reads upper and lower the same but Linux does not.
As my OS is Linux it has to be one of the other.
If I publish it, how will it be able to use these diferent links?
Will I have top go in an change every link so they are all the same first?
Thanks
Rock

Recommend you convert all to lower case
Try the case changer addin from Jimco at http://www.jimcoaddins.com/
