Just a guess, but I suspect this is because the service already exists.
If you dig into the archives or a search engine, you will probably find
a remove option. When I had a similar problem, I used some service
management tools of my own to remove the offending service. IIRC, it
did help, but I am not certain which of the many things I tried actually
got it going.
