DAO via MyODBC

Hello!

I am using DAO 3.6 with VB6.=20
I installed the MySQL Server 4.1.8 and the corresponding=20
MyODBC driver 3.51.10-2

Now I want to call open a connection.=20
I set the ConnectionString and then I call Open. But open
throws an exception "bad error" or something like that.

Do anybody know, what is wrong?

With the MySQL-Server 4.0.23 and MyODBC 3.51.9 everything
is great! I use the same code!

Can you connect using the msql client using the same user and password? I=
suspect it could be a password problem MySQL 4.0.23 and 4.1.8 use=
different password schemes.
