Smaller Text Size in Browser

Smaller Text Size in Browser

am 12.01.2005 21:33:18 von Norma Kennedy Plourde

Hi,
When I create or edit my pages in FrontPage, they look fine in the edit
screen (normal mode) with 12 pt. size. But, when I go to look at them in
Preview Mode, or in an actual browser, the text is much smaller, a little
hard to read. Is there a reason for this, and can I prevent it from getting
smaller-looking in the browser?

Example:
http://www3.nbnet.nb.ca/normap/pseudomonas.htm

Thanks,
Norma

Check your browser's Text settings.

How do I do that? I have tried this: View, Text Size, Medium...but the next
time I open a new browser window, I have to choose that again...each and
every time...

Make sure that it is set in the last browser window that you have open, then close the browse will
set the value for the next time you open your browse.

Try setting it, then closing out the browser and shutting down windows. That
may get Windows to store the information about the last browser session
correctly. You also may want to see if the folks over at the
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexp lorer.ie6.browser
newsgroup have seen this before.

Hope this helps,

Are you running Eudora for email? http://scnc.misd.k12.mi.us/ie_fix.html

Hi Thomas,
That worked temporarily, but reverted back to smaller text after a restart.
So, not a good solution...but thanks anyways.

Norma

Hi Kathleen,
Yes, I do use Eudora. I checked out that link, and tried the fix, and it
worked, even after a restart, the text stayed at medium size.

Only thing now, is I lose some of the html functionality in Eudora, but
maybe it will help decrease spammers detecting when I open a spam email? I
hope so!

Thanks for letting me now of this fix!
Norma
