I have this HP scanjet 2400 an Linux Mabdrake 9. I use the Mandrake
Control Center to recognize my scanner but SANE doesn't support it. What
can i do to use my scanner on Linux. I will appreciate if you help me.

Check dll.conf in /etc/sane.d or /etc/sane and make sure that the line
that says just hp is not commented out.

It is not commented, the only hp entry in the dll.conf file commented is
the hpoj one. i left it commented 'cause my scanner is not an Office
Jet. It is an HP ScanJet 2400. Digital FlatBed Scanner.
