Kernel compile => disk size Error
am 15.09.2003 10:45:32 von Tom TroonbeeckxGood morning all,
Yesterday I tried to compile the kernel 2.4.22 on a redhat 9 server.
Everything went well except with the
make modules_install
The exact error messages sliped out of mine mind, but it said something like
"The kernel is too big too fit on the disk".
I checked the diskspace on /boot and there was at least 50 MB free space.
Any ideas why it gave this error and how to circumvent?
Thanks in advance!
Yours truly
