Alsa sound issues

Below is what i have on my system using 2.6.2
I can't seem to get access to the snd_mixer_oss
I have no sound. I have access to audio group
I also have also have the audio devices made like this MAKEDEV audio and
MAKEDEV pcaudio
I get sound whne i reboot and use my old kernel which uses OSS.
