I have installed Mysql 4.0.15 & it will not run-I get an error that reads
Could not start the MySql service on Local Computer
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
I am using Windows XP

Did you install the service from the command line? If so what command
did you use? You should go into the mysql/bin folder and use:
mysql-nt --install
As your command to install the service. This is the MS NT specific
daemon to run MySQL under NT based machines. Cheers.
