issues publishing from frontpage 2003 client to apache 1.3.33 server
am 11.02.2005 02:18:05 von David CrakerHi Guys,
i am having issues publishing a new frontpage 2003 website to an apache
server 1.3.33 at my webhost...
It is a large website that has bee working well up until yesterday. I
decided to rebuild it from Frontpage 2002 and change layout a little,
including newer layers etc.
No it starts to publish, gets part way there, creates folders and then hangs
and sends back this error from the server
" 406 Not Acceptable
Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource
/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe could not be found on this server.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.e-itsolutions.com.au Port 80 "
I have tried publishing part web, full web, different web, single files and
still get this error...
I have had the extensions removed and reinstalled and still get this error..
I have tried another PC with a new install of frontpage, still the error so
I can only see that it is still server side...
Any ideas on this one....
PS: Should I ask about the hosts intention to upgrade to apache 2.0 and
whether they support newer fp exyensions... Could this be adding to the
issues???
Again, any help would be appreciated...
