CSV table type

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone have used CSV tables before , I don't wanna
compile a Windows version just to see how it works, I just have a few
questions:

1) How is the "TEXT" field type saved in CSV format (line breaks), the
default register separator for CSV files is the line break, how can a
TEXT field have a blank line or a simple line break without an error?

2) I have checked the manual, and appears that the only way to enable
the CSV table type is to compile a version, is there any other way to
enable it?
