Bug in MySQL Control Center 0.8.10 for Windows

Bug in MySQL Control Center 0.8.10 for Windows

am 13.02.2003 22:19:53 von dan

I have come across the following bug in MySQL Control Center 0.8.10 Beta for
Windows:

When you have two databases that are identicle (ie, a master and a slave) and you
connect to both databases (one on a server and one on the local machine) when you
open a table listing for one database and open a table, then open the second
database, and it still reads from the first database that you opened unless you click
on the refresh button.

How-To-Repeat:
Create two identicle database servers on two different machines, connect to both
using MySQL Control Center, open both databases so that it shows the tables under the
database on the left hand side (i.e. on the navigation bar it shows:

Server1:
Databases:
TestDB
Tables
Server Administration
User Administration
Server2:
Databases:
TestDB
Tables
Server Administration
User Administration

Click on tables under server1, double click on one of the tables shown on the right
hand side.

Close the window that shows the rows returned

Clock on tables under server2, double click the same table on the right hand side as
previously

MySQL Control center returns the rows from Server1 instead of server2

Note: It does the same thing if you try to edit the table structure.
Additional Note: Test was performed on database using InnoDB tables.

Hi!

Thanks for your bug-report. I was just able to replicate this and will be
fixed for 0.8.11

Jorge

Herminio,

I'm unable to reproduce this bug with 0.8.10. Can you please send me the
exact steps I should follow to reproduce it ?

Thanks for the bug report.

Jorge
