Hello,

a friends of mine in the last time has received some mail from unknow
person , with offensive argument.
it's not spam , the mails come from a valid e-mail address.
how can we discover who is the sender ?

But WHOSE address? Just because it is valid doesn't mean it is
theirs.

If they are any good, you can't.

Otherwise, look for their IP in the lower Received: headers or
in the X-Originating-IP: (etc.) header and run a whois search on it.

Then contact the ISP they are using and ask them to tell you
who it is. They probably won't without a court order. Unless
you have some friends in high places or enough money to offer a
serious bribe. Be sure to email the offending mails, including
all headers to them.

A copy of a police report/complaint that you have filed might
help too.

Most likely you can't but an email to postmaster@ and/or abuse@ that
includes the entire abusive email including all headers may get some help
for you.

The email address may, or may not belong to the sender. The best that you
will be able to do is to identify the IP address of the machine which
injected the email into the SMTP relay system. That machine may, or may not
belong to the sender. A complaint to the service provider responsible for
that IP address would be appropriate.
