I've been scouring the Internet for some time trying to find an answer to
this problem. I use the "include" webbot to put a form on a multiple pages.
Every time I Recalculate Hyperlinks or do some other command (such as
publish from the server to another site), the form that was called via the
include webbot actually gets replicated into the file that called it,
followed by a line similar to . (The checksum is different in every page.)
I've checked that my Server Extensions are the most current (5.0.2.2623) and
have reinstalled them multiple times. However, I cannot find a solution to
this problem. Does anyone have any leads? (For more info, check out:

There are some bugs in FP2002 & in the FP2002 SE related to shared borders & include pages
so make sure you (and your host) see & apply all appropriate patches from:
For info in Service Pack 1 & 2 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q3256 71
For the Host/Server running the FP2002 SE
For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q299 360
The latest FP SE for Unix that fix the problems
(FPSE 2000 1.4 patch and an FPSE 2002 SR 1.1 patch)
are at http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport
For NT server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q298 827
For FrontPage Server Extension 2002 Update - see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q317 296
and security patch

Thanks for the suggestions, Stefan. I've checked these pages out and haven't
found a solution. I'm running FrontPage 2003 and it's completely updated.
The server extensions are for 2002, version 5.0.2.2623, which from what I
can tell, is the most recent version. All this is running on Apache 1.3.23.
The include problem listed on the page about "Unix server problems on the
FP2002 SE" is not the same include problem I'm having. The ONLY include that
gets duplicated is the askform.htm which contains a FP form. All other
includes (navigation, header, copyright, etc) work properly. Is there
something wrong with my askform.htm file that's causing the problem? It's
located at: http://www.christianchallenge.org/ask/askform.htm and the
complete code is posted below. Thanks for any help you might can offer.
