Hi All,
New to this list - let's see if someone can help me out.
I've tried 3.51.11, 9, 10 and 12-2 . with no luck.
When I link Microsoft Access to my server and try to update a record - I get
an error message that states, "this record has been changed by another
user." and doesn't allow me to update the record.
I've seen this error - but, I haven't seen a decent explanation or fix.
Help? Suggestions?? Please!!!

Daniel:
Add a column to the table type timestamp. This will allow msaccess the
information it's need no know that nobody is modifying the record.
If you have msaccess as a frontend and mysql as you backend, then put
the timestamp on every table you have in the mysql.

Daniel. Did that solution work for you? I've received this error / alert as
well when multiple people are adding new records to a SQL Database using
MSAccess 97. I wonder if I should add this field to my SQL table.
