How do I recreate or rebuild an index key?
am 24.09.2002 18:41:12 von PathFinder SoftwareHi,
I cannot access my database.
After running the command "myisamchk -r /var/lib/mysql/*/*.frm"
I get this error response:
/var/lib/mysql/test_database/sales.frm' doesn't have a correct index
definition. You need to recreate it before you can do a repair.
I cannot find any information in the man isamchk or the on line MySQL
documentation on how to recreate or rebuild an index. Do I have to recreate
the table with the original create table statement or perhaps use an ALTER
table statement?
