Hello there,

A largest Perl porter for Windows as well known is ActiveState, but so =
much time after Perl 5.8 has released and I can't already find window =
version of DBD-MySQL in their archive =
(http://activestate.com/PPMPackages/5.8-windows/).
Is there any reason for that? Need help?

Thanks,
Julian

I believe part of the reason is that ActiveState uses an automated
build system for adding ppm packages, and DBD-mysql requires
human intervention to build. I've put one up in our repository at
http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/. In using this, you may have
to add to your PATH the directory to your mysql distribution dlls.
