want to parse and relay bell mobilty mms so it is accepted by moblogs

Apologies if this is not the right group.. from what I have been
reading it looks like it might be.

Here is my situation... I just got a camera phone. I am able to email
pictures to my phone, and to my mailbox. However, I cannot email the
pictures to moblogs (like yafro). I am not quite sure, but I think it
is because my carrier does not actually send the picture - it uploads
the picture to its website and sends an html message containing an IMG
link to the picture. I have been able to use this on 0 moblogs.

What I would like to do is create a perl app, and have a certain email
address piped to it. The perl app would check to see if the message
was from my phone, download the picture in the IMG link, and send out
an MMS email that will be accepted by the moblogs.

What I would like to know though - is this possible? I have been
searching for days and have not found very much in the way of
currently existing solutions. I am able to pipe mail to a perl file
on my server.

If this is not possible, does anybody have an idea of how I could
accomplish this otherwise?
