libmySQL issue

Hi,

I am using MySQL server ver. 4.0.20a under Windows. I
added these two lines in my.ini:

lower_case_table_names=2
default-table-type=innodb

in order to create mixedcase tables. If I'm using a
simple client tool for mysql (like SQLyog), I can
create mixedcase tables.
However, if I use libmySQL.dll in a simple
application, I can see that mysql creates tables with
lowercase name.
Is there any workaround for this version of libmySQL
library?
