site moved to new server, DB pages no longer work

im in close with the person that runs the server that my
site is on. this person is new to FP and extensions and
such. my site was on anotehr server that had everything
working and was recently moved to his. my sites use
Access databases within the sites which results are
displayed and still work fine. i also have pages where
things can be modified, deleted, etc... i have made NO
changes to anything of any of my sites and now when a
change is attempted from a page, i get this error or
something simillar...

Database Results Error
Description: Operation must use an updateable query.
Number: -2147467259 (0x80004005)
Source: Microsoft JET Database Engine

again, i can still view the results but jsut cant make
any changes. what can i tell him to check out with the
extensions or whatever that may be causing my websites
not working anymore?

If it is a Unix server it doesn't support ASP and Access DB
- this is a Unix FP SE newsgroup

Can you clarify your Unix statement? I've always understood
this to be a newsgroup for users of FP with Windows. How is
this a Unix newsgroup?
