Folder not accessible???

Folder not accessible???

am 29.03.2005 01:58:19 von beau.sanders

I have just setup FPE2002 on a new virtual server. I have nine domains
setup. Seven of the domains work perfect.

When attempting to login to one domain, I receive the following error:

The folder XXXX isn't accessible. The folder may be located on an
unavailable volume or protected with a password.

The only password that has been setup is the one for FrontPage which does
not work. I do not get to the login screen. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled FPE2002 several times thinking something went wrong, but the
situation has been consistent.

Your help on this will be appreciated.

The folder "http://Website" isn't accessible. The folder may be located on
an unavailable volume or protected with a password.

Tom, thanks for your help. I am afraid none of these articles seems to be
the answer. I even deleted all of the Web site files via FTP, uninstalled
FPE2002 onn the server and started over again...I got the same result. There
is something missing that Frontpage needs to login to the FPE2002 server. I
hope someone has a suggestion. Thanks.

Tom, these article apply to the Windows IIS version of FPE. Where is the
in-depth help for problems with FrontPage Extensions on a UNIX server?

There is none. However, there is a forum at RTR.

Have you checked the permissions?

Have you checked .htaccess?

Which version of Apache?
