FrontPage Extensions Not Installed????
am 29.03.2005 02:01:39 von beau.sanders
I have just setup FPE2002 on a new virtual server. I have nine domains
setup. Seven of the domains work perfect.
Once more symptom: When attempting to login to a Web site that has been
installed a couple of times, I get the following error in FrontPage:
The web server at XXXX.com does not appear to have FrontPage Extensions
installed.
I have not been able to find anything in the MS Knowledgebase on this. Any
help will be appreciated.

Have you checked the xxxxx.cnf at /usr/local/frontpage?

Yes, the two .cnf files are present as you indicated. What am I looking for?
Thanks for your help.

No improvement on this problem. Can anyone give me some help. I have done
the following:
1. Uninstalled FPE2002 off the hosts and the server; then reinstalled; no
change.
2. Removed the content for this host off the server; unintalled and
reinstalled FPE2002; still no change. Then reloaded the content.
3. I reviewed the FPE2002 files loaded on the server for this host and
compared with other hosts that are working correctly everything appears the
same.
If you do not know how to fix this issue, can you direct me a support source
where I can get help. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
