Has anyone used Natl. Instruments LabView with mySQL? LabView is a tool
for "graphical programming", mostly for engineering environments where
you don't have to write code but rather "draw" your program like a block
diagram.

Just curious, we do LabView here and I'd like to be able to present
mySQL as a viable database to the engineers.

Thanks,

Watch out if those MS folks find out you're running a database server on
WinXP since according to the EULA, you can only use XP on a "Workstation
Computer". Those silly restrictions make me all the more pleased in
setting up a Linux-based DB server! Cheers.

Thanks very much for the help with this, to all.
Now I can goto managment and tell them we've got a real database =
