graduate from PWS

I waould like to know if moving an ASP application from my Windows98 with
PWS 4 to WIndowsXP Pro with IIS would cut down on the amount of crashes in
inetinfo.exe?
I am closing all connections to the dbf files(I am using these because the
person that wants this application has all his info in this format) after
each page is completed.
Is there no way to completely remove the connection or cache from inetinfo
or whatever is causing it to crash? I can only serve so many pages and then
it crashes. PWS really does not show what is causing the problem.
Dr Watson says everything is allright on my system even after it (or during)
crashes.
Any support would be appreciated!

It'll probably give you better stability, but XP Pro still isn't a genuine
web hosting platform. It's also limited in the number of connections and a
number of configuration options. Whether it's a fix really depends on what
exactly is causing your problems in the first place. If your hardware is
duff, then upgrading won't do anything.

Or if you want to move up to a low-priced Web host you may want to look
into www.best-machine.com where currently for $4.50/mo total you can set
up 5 domains (i.e. separate Web sites).
