Newsgroup NOT available

Well, Tom, I notice that when I click on General Questions,
Add-ins, and Programming, only the phrase "newsgroup not
available" appears in the frame where the postings usually
appear. The only FP newsgroup that works is Server
Extensions. Does this help?

Quit using the web interface, and subscribe to the *real* newsgroups via the
microsoft news server.

Use your Outlook Express to subscribe to the newsgroups. The news server is
msnews.microsoft.com

The web interface is flaky, at best.

I'm out of luck. Our IT switched everyone to Thunderbird!

MS newsgroups can also be set up in Thunderbird. Why not visit their web
site to find out how, or ask your IT?
