account.
Since I was not diled in at the time, it did not show
in the routing table.
As it turns out, the problem was, of course, simple.
I am guessing that my switch was bad even though all
the lights were correct (I did not want to pay $30 to
test it) and my crossover cable was definately bad
(that the shop would test for free). A new $10
crossover cable and I am running again. Boy do I
wish I had done that a week ago!
