mysqlcc 9.1 MySQL Options page defaults on connection properties

The properties on the 'MySQL Options' tab of the connection properties page
are totally bogus after having added a new host.
Existing hosts are not affected (for example - if upgrading an existing
installation), and altered information is stored correctly (you can manually
enter good values, and they 'stick').
The 'normal' default values of previous mysqlcc version (except 9.0 - which
has the same bug) are not being populated by default.
This bug gives the appearance that there is something wrong with the
connection, since nearly any query results in either no or far less data
comming back than what might otherwise have been expected.
My compliments on an otherwise very good gui client for mysql.
