about Mysql server installation fail

Hi! I am Mike

I try to install mysql 4.0.12-win
and it appears to me that the preparing guiding installation stop at 100%
and the windows shows
"InstallShield Engine" Problem
The error message is:
AppName: _ins5176._mp AppVer: 5.10.130.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 75676552

Is there any problem with the install setup file that i downloaded from your
website or i have to configure something in my computer to make the
installation work?

my windows system is
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Sevice Pack 1

intel pentium 4


please reply me how to resolve the question

Most probably you have downloaded a corrupted installation file. Try
again with a newly downloaded file.
