Sorting in Icelandic.

Hi there.

As far as I can see, mySQL does not sort Icelandic words correctly. Is
there anything I (or you) can do to fix it?

Correct sorting order: =
a=E1bcd=F0e=E9fghi=EDjklmno=F3pqrstu=FAvwxy=FDzþæö
A=C1BCD=D0E=C9FGHI=CDJKLMNO=D3PQRSTU=DAVWXY=DDZÞÆÖ

None of these characters are equivalent, so you cannot sort '=E1' as if =
it
were 'a' or '=E9' as if it were 'e' (but upper and lower case are
equivalent, so 'a' amounts to the same as 'A', '=E1' as the same as =
'=C1'
etc.).

Yes, you can do.

Can you send us a character set for Icelandic ???

Isn't it same as Danish ???

Please take a look at share/charsets directory and make icelandic
charset and send it to us.
