odbc connection

I have a MSAccess2003 program with a mysql backend. It usually makes the =
connection--sometimes it takes a second try. I can add records, update =
records, etc. if I am fast. It won't hold the connection long enough to =
update several records. My form connects directly with the mysql =
database--no intermediate queries. I have the same problem when I work =
in the table itself. Where should I begin troubleshooting? I am =
running 3.51.11-2. I cannot find anything in the documentation about =
this.

I don't think I've seen your particular issue, but then your description
is a little vague.
