Dear Sir/Madam,

When I do a test for the configuration I get the failed test error message
as described on Page 1143 of your tutorial. Unfortunately you did not give any
tips as to how to resolve this problem.

The entries I have given are the same as shown in your tutorial except:

User: I have tried my name "Frederick" and _root@localhost_
(mailto:root@localhost) (which I got as the current user when issueing a status command at
the mysql prompt).
Password: I gave the same password as the one I give at the mysql prompt on
the command line.

Would really appreciate your help. I am a novice.
