Controlling privilages via ODBC

I have created an application using delphi 7.

I connect to the mysql database using a TADOQuery through MySQL ODBC driver 3.51 on Windows XP.
I would like to control my INSERT,DELETE and other privilages from my application.I have created the necessary user accounts in my database together with their privilages.

How do i go about this?
