MySql 4.0.13 libmysql.dll failure with Delphi 7

Dear Sir/Madam,



As a Delphi developer I recently started using MySQL in combination with
Delphi 7. The following problem occurs: Delphi's TSQLConnection fails to
load MySQL 4.0.13's libmysql.dll when trying to connect, resulting in an
error message saying: 'Unable to load libmysql.dll'. MySQL 3.23.56's
libmysql.dll, however, does work correctly.

Am I making a mistake of some sort? Otherwise I suggest you look into
the problem to fix the dll so Delphi can be used again with the newest
releases of mySQL.
