Hi There

I am experiencing very strange behaviour with timestamps/dates via the
mysql jdbc driver

tested version
mysql-max 4.0
jdbc driver stable 3.0.7,3.0.8

context:
retrieve a timestamp from a date column

result:
the result adds 1900 to the year

Hi!

I just tested this and don't observe this behavior. What is the _exact_
timestamp type you are using (i.e. do you constrain it with a precision
clause in your CREATE TABLE)? Do you have a repeatable testcase I could
try?
