Bug or not?

Bug or not?

am 08.07.2003 16:04:38 von Doug Baird

....I did the download and receivd the zip file for Windows. When I
clicked on the '?' in the
admin screen, I get the following:

Cannot find the WINMYSQLADMIN.HLP file. Do you want to try to find this
file yourself?

....a search does NOT locate it nor does an extensive manual search
through ALL the directories.
It then says I need to re-install the package. I did, but it still is
not there. I md5sum checked the
file and it came back identical to the sum on the website. What gives here?

Thanks for the time and trouble. If this had not been a direct install
issue and the checksum was
invalid, I would consider paying for the support. It does appear to be
an oversight though.
Please reply to ft411@mts.net

Thanks again,
Doug Baird

Unfortunately you do not reveal enough details to be able to verify your
complaint. What version of MySQL are you referring to? What was the exact
name of the zip file you donwloaded? If you can provide this information,
we would appreciate if you could file a bug report at

http://bugs.mysql.com

Thanks in advance!

Bye,
