JBoss/MySQL/Win2K: Fails to get Auto-Inc Key

JBoss/MySQL/Win2K: Fails to get Auto-Inc Key

am 28.07.2003 18:43:40 von Andy Pavlo

Hi, I'm not sure if this problem has been reported yet, but here's what I have
found. We have JBoss [WonderLand] 3.2.1 (build: CVSTag=JBoss_3_2_1
date=200305041533), running on a Windows 2000 machine connecting to a Windows
MySQL Box 3.23.49-max-nt-log. When creating an entity that uses auto
increment keys, our beans could not get the new key for the new record using
"mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable-bin.jar". So the program would die a
horrible death of exceptions. The only way I could get this to work was if I
used "mysql-connector-java-3.0.7-stable-bin.jar".

Can you send us all error messages that you get with 3.0.8 as well as
code that creates the entity.
