Good morning

I do have a similar problem.
I tried for nearly a week to compile the mysql 3-23.52 mysql Database on an Solaris 9
system using gcc 3.2.
Yesterday I gave up and deinstalled gcc3.2 and reinstalled 2.95.3 from
www.sunfreeware.com wehre I also got the gcc3.2 from.

With gcc 2.95.3 it compiled without an failor, all test runs are O.K. and the installed
mysql DB runs fine.
I think the problem is in the combination of gcc3.2 and the mysql databese version but
I can not swear.

So my hint is to sheck your compiler version and to try a older version of gcc.
